There’s probably no one on this planet who wouldn’t identify with Lou’s predicament in this funny story.
When we meet Lou, he’s in a mad rush to the toilet. After a desperate debate with the characters in the long queue at the entrance to the toilet, he must run off and find another loo.
We then follow Lou trying to get it done in some interesting places. The poor thing tries to hide behind some bamboo but doesn’t quite get out of sight. He’s kicked by a kangaroo and gets some suspicious looks from a fox while looking for a place to go.
“I have to do my do, it’s due! ”
The illustrations are awesome and genuinely capture Lou’s urgency. Perfectly rhyming verses make this book a great one to read out loud.
