Where’s the FOOTY? AFL – Art by Chris Roy Taylor

A finding book for all things footy!
Endpapers are full of footies!

This is one great book for footy fans or just for fans of finding things books! The first two pages are chock full of footy facts. Then we meet Josh and Hazel who are ready to start training, but the club room is in a right mess with all a lot of things missing. So start looking!! There is a list of 12 things to be found on every page, including Josh, Hazel, their besties Alex & Riley, mouthguards, orange slices and others.

Following are 9 spreads in different settings including the beach, park, Dreamtime at the ‘G and a backyard BBQ to name a few. Each spread has a list of 12 separate things to find.

The colourful pages are bursting with activity and the level of difficulty is high enough to keep young ones occupied as they tick off the lost items.

We don’t play footy and we may not have even picked this book up if it wasn’t for the recommendation by the lovely librarian at the Brisbane City Council library. We are so grateful because we had a grand time with the book, finding everything! It is a totally giftable book and highly recommended one to have on your bookshelf.

Suggested for all ages!
