A. A. Milne’s poetry reminds me of a pretty trinket box of childhood treasures or precious diary filled with tiny pressed flowers and leaves.
The thick glossy pages are ‘decorated’ with drawings by E. H. Shepard and fittingly capture each poem’s mood and making them the gorgeous trinket boxes that they are. These books are a must have on any bedside table. For bedtime reading, why not add a poem as well? Children will relate to the imagination at play in each offering and if any of you adults have become too entangled in the neurons of logical adult brains, these poems will help find your inner child.
