Unplugged by Steve Antony

Are you plugged into a screen for hours on end? Blip, the cute character in this story, is.

Blip happily uses her computer all day long, to learn and play. Then, one day the power cuts off.

Blip trips down the stairs and falls into the beautiful outdoors joyfully finding that she can learn and play here all day too.

New friends and experiences add colour to Blip’s world. When the power is restored, Blip tearfully farewells her outdoor friends. She is happy to reunite with her computer, but realises that being unplugged is much more fun and rushes back outside!

This is a cute story with a relevant message that is presented simply and beautifully.  The minimal text is bold and clear, perfect for those learning to read. Blip’s adventures serve as a gentle reminder for kids and adults to reconnect with the joy of real experiences.
